THE FOLLOWING IS CLASSIFIED: TOP SECRET///SPECIAL ACCESS//.
COMBINED JOINT TASK FORCE VALKYRIE / MAJIC

The following requires US Government Clearance for Special Access ///CJTFV/MAJIC If you do not have CJTFV and MAJIC access you are not cleared to read this document.  Violating special access will result in criminal prosecution.  The unauthorized disclosure of government secrets is High Treason and is punishable by up to 30 years in prison and death. This is your final warning.

Combined Joint Task Force Valkyrie (CJTFV) is a a group effort collected from multiple agencies, military services and nations. The largest organizational support comes within various specialized subordinate organizations within the United States Government.

The following is the list of USG organizations that support TFV and maintaining MAJIC clearance is required to interact with them as an Agent of the Task Force.

THE STEERING COMMITTEE:
At the very top of TFV's leadership is the Steering Committee.  It's a shadowy cabal of the most clued-in and well guarded members of the United States government's military, intelligence, law enforcement and scientific personnel. Aside from the Internal Security detachment watching everyone and itself constantly for signs of supernatural subversion, it's mostly just an administrative, leadership and intelligence collection-and-assessment group. The Steering committee also consists of the Directors of all the major projects:  FORT, TWILIGHT, ADAMSKI, NIGHTFALL, and CAULDRON.

PROJECT NIGHTFALL:
The Steering Committee have the big picture and POTUS communications in case a Threat Condition RAGNAROK event (Such as CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN or GOD GAME BLACK) occurs and someone has to break out the nukes.  It holds deals and diplomatic agreements with supernatural organizations under PROJECT NIGHTFALL. This group also collects MAJIC-level clearance agents and operatives into VALKYRIE's various Projects and Operations.

PROJECT LAUNDRY:
The Laundry, is the elite group of TFV agents who have parahuman abilities.  They either manifest these powers before recruitment or in the line of duty and there are rumors of experiments or methods the Project has at its disposal to cause para-human abilities to manifest. They are divided into the Parahuman Response Team (PRT) consisting of SWATs of people with lesser powers and support agents organized regionally, and the Protectorate (Suits) with advanced powers deployed globally.  They also have a program called The Wards (WARD) which consists of under 18 year old's with parahuman abilities which are taught to control and develop their powers in a protected environment.

MISSION PARTNERS:
Beneath the Committee are organizations drawn from all levels of the government, particularly institutions likely to have to interact with ENEs in a contingency situation.  The steering committee works interagency processes to integrate these elements into a Task Force. Most require the MAJIC clearance to even know these organizations exist within their respective groups.

The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI)
Anomalous Observation Service (AOS):
The AOS is a small little office of the ONI, often referred to as the Navy's "freak team." There's a ton of crazy shit in the oceans and it's these guys job to figure out exactly what is down there. Public, officially just tasked with figuring out "natural" weirdness of the ocean. Lots of conspiracy theorists file FOIA requests about the Bloop, but the AOS is definitely not talking about that.  Primarily they watch BLUE HADES activity.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Vanguard Serial Crimes Unit (VASCU):
The Internal bureaucratic rivalry between members of the Steering Committee has so far prevented the Wintergreen process from being extended to military and intelligence uses. VASCU is the FBIs unit responsible for hunting down the worst serial and mass killers still at large, especially if the killers are incredibly difficult to catch.  The CIA would dearly love to get its hands on Teleinformatics (if they knew about it), but so far, it has been avoided.  Public, though obviously they don't go broadcasting the "psychics versus supernatural serial killers" bit.

FBI: Temporal & Entropic Paradox Investigations Department (TEPID)
Move over Fox Mulder. There is a Dept within the FBI not reported by CJTFV.  TEPID is an office to investigate issues caused by anomalies caused by possible time manipulation or other "mystery spots," in the United States territories. They have been around since the Philadelphia Experiment of 1943 and nobody outside the Bureau is use why they keep their cards so close to the chest that they exist only as rumor and not report any activity to the Task Force.  CJTFV-HQ's current hypothesis is that they are the FBI's Witchfinder effort, they also may have a number of Reality Deviant Parahumans in their employ. ((They also are unilaterally organized and controlled by the Seers of the Throne so that is fun))

Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS)Outlier Contingency Ops Section (OCOS):
Because of the general clusterfuck nature of the DHS, even TFV couldn't untangle the web of bureaucracy dragging down this group. It doesn't actually do anything but soak up a lot of funding and issue a lot of reports.

The DHS-OCOS does have one asset that makes them worth it to coordinate with.  They have a number of designated Regional Preternatural Investigation Teams (RPITs) that are quickly assembled from local law enforcement in the area of interest.  Pronounced RIP-IT, the RPITs can be a treasure, especially when you need someone who knows the region or area of interest on hand quickly.  On the other hand, real supernatural threats are famous for annihilating these low-budget and poorly trained groups in record time if things come to blows.

Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)- Esoteric Operations Division (EOD):
When you absolutely, positively need the firepower, this little parasite organization on the Special Operations Command can put soldiers, trained in supernatural countermeasures and with every tool of destruction the US military has at its disposal in the field. They are more commonly referred to as The Black Watchmen, with its defensive branch referred to as just Black Watch.  They also have an elite offensive Hacker Branch called Nite Team 4.  Emphatically not public, and rarely actually used-TFV likes to take care of problems as covertly as possible. But sometimes, a small town does get overrun with zombies and someone has to break out the flamethrowers. Secret and emphatically so. Also manages the "French Foreign Legion of Magic Weirdos", otherwise known as Company Zero

US Air Force (USAF)
Project STARCATCHER (PSC):
Just like the oceans, the skies are occasionally host to some weird stuff, and this is a tiny little Air Force branch with the mission to capture and study it whenever possible, especially when it comes to Earth.  Project BLUEBOOK is a much larger volume than what was ever declassified.

Central Intelligence Agency(CIA)
MK-ORPHEUS(MKO):
The obvious successor of the CIA's MK-Ultra, this conspiracy in its own right, like VALKYRIE and VASCU, this group within the spook community is composed of actual spooks. Specifically, humans put into a near-death suspended animation developed by ethically flexible CIA scientists in the 70s, allowing them to project their spiritual selves into twilight and, well, do some ghost operations. Agents who die during suspension tend to become ghosts...and rumor amongst the spooks is that the Agency has some mojo or witchcraft it can muster to bind their spectral dead into more permanent service to the United States. MK-ORPHEUS also defaults to the US government's main paranormal intelligence gathering mechanism outside of the United States and has a large number of non-spook agents and operatives with MAJIC clearance. Regular paranormal covert operations are conducted by the Special Activities Division. Secret.

Smithsonian Institute (SI) Restricted Artifact Collection (RAC):
Remember the warehouse at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark? SI-RAC is where the US government sends weird objects to be cataloged and stored by a small group of eccentric experts. Straight up Warehouse 13 meets the SPC Foundation.

Library of Congress (LoC)
Rare Book Collection (RBC):
Like the above, LoC-RBC is where they stick worrisome books to be studied and cataloged and stored and occasionally busted out when someone absolutely, positively needs the dismissal spell for some weird thing from beyond.

Center for Disease Control (CDC)
- Special Branch (SB):
CDC/SB spend a lot of their time having nightmares about that brain worm thing from Wicked Dead. Half the time they just investigate new or emerging public health threats with little to no paranormal collection. Other times, they break out the flamethrowers. Public.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Extinction Directorate (ED):
Just in case, you understand. Piggybacks on existing "continuity of government" protocols for surviving a nuclear holocaust, only it takes into account more existential threats.  It builds bunkers and stockpiles supplies to survive more unconventional ends of the world.

Department of Energy (DoE)
Blackthorne National Laboratory (BNL):
This is where the government keeps its mad scientists locked up with black budgets and select think tanks. There is public knowledge of its existence, and even location, but no one knows what goes on inside.  They are also responsible for high-energy experiments dealing with nuclear energy and quantum physics
((Basically equivalent to Hawkins Lab in Stranger Things))

United States Secret Service
Occult Defense Unit (ODU):
Want to hex the President? These guys have the means and know how to make you regret that decision. Public, though its official status is of two guys in an office organized to scare off and monitor crazy people who think the President is the anti-Christ and such. In reality, they're in the basement, and there are more than two of them, and they have silver bullets and more than one apostate Mage on the payroll working up countermagic.

Department of State
Bureau of Intelligence and Research (BNR)
Special Circumstances Department (SCD):
BNR-SCD is officially on the list of State Department divisions, but what it does is classified. What it does is keep the channels open between TFV and its counterparts in other countries (Britain, Russia, China, the Vatican, etc). Top Secret treaties and informal tacit arrangements between the paranormal apparatuses of various major world powers does two things- keep them from deploying the supernatural against one another (often ignored) and making sure they're all on the same page if push ever came to shove with humanity's various enemies (not ignored barring high-level subversion of leadership). It tries to convince other Tier-3 conspiracies to share their Endowments, but if there's one thing national governments fear more than monsters eating their senators, its other national governments. It also watches other governments for signs of supernatural subversion and has a not-so-friendly rivalry in that regard with MKORPHEUS. It also handles "back channel" (often referred to as "black channel") contact with supernatural communities. There's no treaty with the Invictus or anything like that, but some very powerful vampire elders, Guardians and Seers have some phone numbers. Everyone's interested in the status quo, after all.
